Royal Mail Collection Update – Extreme Heat Weather Warning
The Met Office is forecasting exceptionally high temperatures this week, with temperatures expected to exceed 35°C in some areas on Wednesday and Thursday.
Royal Mail have advised us that collections may be suspended during periods of extreme heat for the health and safety of postal workers. At present, we have not been informed whether collections will take place, and we may not know until the day itself.
What does this mean for your order?
If Royal Mail collections are suspended, orders that would normally be dispatched on Wednesday or Thursday may be delayed until collections resume. This could result in a delay of 1–2 working days for some orders.
What are we doing?
We will continue to process, pack and prepare orders as normal. Any orders affected by collection disruptions will be dispatched at the earliest opportunity once Royal Mail services resume.
Will all orders be affected?
Not necessarily. If Royal Mail collections continue as normal, orders will be dispatched as usual. The situation is currently dependent on local operational decisions made by Royal Mail in response to the weather conditions.
We will update this page if we receive any further information.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during these exceptional weather conditions.
