Calico - 100% Cotton

A plain woven material  made from unbleached cotton. It's crisp and does not stretch, making a popular choice for toile making (a process whereby you make a mock up practise version of a garment you intend to make in order to check the fit), lining curtains, and painting or printing on. A low cost fabric that is machine washable and easy to sew.
